Dr. Pauline Koreyasu

Along with general practitioning, Dr. Koreyasu offers a special interest in veterinary dentistry, acupuncture, and Chinese herbal medicine. Dr. Koreyasu is a member of the Honolulu Veterinary Society and the Hawai'i Veterinary Medical Association. She is also licensed to practice in the state of Hawaii, California, Colorado, and New York.

Dr. Koreyasu attended earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University. After graduation, in Staten Island, New York, she began her first job at Richmond Valley Animal Hospital. Dr. Koreyasu returned home to Hawaii and was employed at University Pet Clinic. After five years, she partnered with Dr. Gleason Hirata to open Kapalama Pet Hospital. And now, after 16 years of practice, Dr. Koreyasu brings her medical and surgical skills to Kaka'ako Pet Hospital, a veterinary hospital that became a reality after many years of planning.
